NAD – D-galactose (non animal derived) is a naturally-occurring hexose, which manufactured from plant biomass, not from lactose. This product has a “natural” designation and is also GMO free. It is considered a sweetener, used mainly in high performance athletic drinks.
D-galactose is one of the eight essential glyconutrients.
