L-fucose is a hexose deoxy sugar, which occurs naturally. It is manufactured from birch/beech wood hydrolysate.
It is a biologically important sugar playing an important role in many cell-cell interactions. L-fucose containing oligosaccharides are being widely studied as potential anti-inflammatory as well as anti-cancer agents. This product has a “natural” designation and is also GMO free.
L-fucose is one of the eight essential glyconutrients.
